A teenage boy has today appeared in court accused of attempted murder by driving a car into a house.
The 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is also charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and criminal damage.
He appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court where he was granted conditional bail following the hearing.
He will next appear at the court on January 11 when he is expected to enter a plea.
Emergency services were scrambled to a house on the outskirts of Lincoln just before 11pm on December 23, Lincolnshire Live reports.
A teenage boy and a 17-year-old girl who were in the car were taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham after sustaining injuries.
Homeowners Caroline and Johnnie Rockley were attending their daughter’s wedding when the crash happened.
They have been forced to move in with their daughter over Christmas.
The couple do not know when they will be able to move back, it was reported.
Pictures taken at the house show extensive damage was caused.
