I got this cotton Uv protection hat for my toddler and 7 year old to wear in the summer. We are always out somewhere weather it be a park or splash pad. This has kept their heads and faces protected. Since its cotton its light weight and doesn’t get your head hot. The pictures are of my 2 year old. IT fits him, 7 year old, as well as me just fine. It like that it is able to fit all of us with no adjustments. The sting part helps it to stay on and not move while they play or splash in the water. First, the packaging was excellent. The hat was rolled and protected in a cellophane bag. The bag was shipped inside of a tightly sealed manilla shipping envelope.

Second, fabric is quality. It is 60/40 cotton/poly blend. It is equivalent to summer weight BDU material for the US Army.

Third, color and pattern are true to pictures item.

Hat is a size large. I wear a 7 1/2 hat and this one is comfortably snug.

Stitching is single loop on non-critical areas such as banding and brim. Critical stress areas are double lock stitched. Snaps are placed to keep the brim up on the sides. They are metal, properly set, and strong.

This hat is just what I wanted. It feels comfortable & looks great. Can’t wait to wear it hiking. I am an adult female with some thick hair & it fits perfectly. I have always been a straw hat person and go thru new hats often and it just gets old. so this year i tried this hat–and it is perfect, far better than my straw hats. i can stuff it in my bag, it has a chin strap if i want to use it, it is cool and light weight–whats not to love? i got the dark gray—it is very comfortable and has a decent brim to shade the eyes. yeah, i like this hat alot.
I have another hat very similar to this but its made from a much heavier material. I am getting ready for vacation and wanted to find a hat that was a bit lighter.
